12th December 2012 - Milestone

We have designed Irelands first 'Certified Passive House' with BER Rating of 'A1',
and 9th dwelling with a 'A1' BER.
It enjoys great views from the south and west facing terrace.

10th November 2012 - Presentation

I presented a free seminar titled
'Natural Building Materials in Architecture'
At the Sustainable Building & Retrofit Show.
I was pleased with the nearly 'Full House'

28th September 2012 National Ploughing Championships

Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland had a free Advice Centre
for the duration. 18 architects from all over Ireland will do 3hr shifts.
I'll wast there there Thr. 27th 2012 from 9am to 12 noon.

14 September 2012 - See the Light 2012

See the Light 2012 hosted by the Passive House Association of Ireland (PHAI),
in collaboration with Self Build Ireland and supported by the RIAI and
the Passive House Academy took place at City West, Dublin. It was an informative day.

29th June 2012 - 2012 Wexford Business Awards

We were Shortlisted in the "Wexford Green Business Award" category.
The winners was announced at the Blacktie Awards Ceremony in
Whites Hotel Wexford. Unfortunately not us.

25th April 2012 - The Better Building Conference

Zeno went to the Better Building Conference. Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin
The international Conference for a Sustainable Built Environment was from 9am to 7pm.
It was sold out with over 320 attending. There were 12 seminars across 3 streams.

29th March 2012 - The Energy Show , RDS Dublin

Zeno went to the Energy Show RDS. The show was quite informative and well visited.

12th & 13th of May 2012
For the 5th year running Zeno took part in the Simon Comunity Open door initative.

The RIAI & the Simon Communities of Ireland had again joined forces for the 8th annual
fundraising initiative "Simon Open Door" - whereby participating RIAI Architects around
Ireland opened their offices on the two days, to give members of
the public an hour's consultation with an architect in return for a donation to Simon of 50 euro.

27th January 2012 - Passive House Association of Ireland AGM

We are members of the Passive House Association of Ireland.
And attended their Anuual General Meeting in Dublin.

At the meeting Zeno brought up the issue of the two tier system the German Institute
have in their registration. There are 'Certified Passive House Designers' and
'Certified Passive House Consultants'.
They all should be 'Certified Passive House Consultants'.
