 7th December 2011 - Passive House Association of Ireland meetingWe are members of the Passive House Association of Ireland.And attended their Extraordinary General Meeting in Dublin. 
At the meeting Zeno brought up the issue of the two tier system the German Institute have in their registration. There are 'Certified Passive House Designers' and 'Certified Passive House Consultants'. They all should be 'Certified Passive House Consultants'. See Facebook page: 
18th October 2011 - Shortlisted for AwardWe are included on the CMG Building & Design Awards 2011 Shortlist forArchitectural Practice of the Year 2011. We are one of four on the list, only one from Co. Wexford. This is our second nomination by CMG, see our news page 2010. 
13th October - See the Light 2011 - Ireland´s Built Environment Reaching for ZeroThe Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland´s (SEAI)Renewable Energy Information Office in association with the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI), hosted the ninth See the Light Conference. It was a full day from 8:20am to 4:30pm at UCD School of Architecture, Richview, Dublin. Opening Session - An Overview of the Sustainability Landscape for Ireland´s Built Environment Session Two - Sustainable Design and Materials Session Three - Green Buildings, Green Construction and Green Jobs Session Four - Sustainable Buildings in Action Very informative highlighting the ever changing building regulations. 22nd September 2011 ConstructIreland MagazineAnother great Issue of Construct Ireland Issue 8 Vol 5.A big Passive House issue with 13 new projects and 5 retrofits. Now 20 years on we use full Colour Injet printers that can output to A1,A2,A3 or A4 at fast speeds. 26th May - 'Kingspan House' seminarKingspan House devision put on a free lunch time seminar abouttheir new ULTIMA Closed Panel Wall and Roof System. They make the system in three stud sizes. With U-Values of 0.18W/m2k, 0.15W/m2k, 0.12W/m2k. It's a closed panel factury built system. More cost effective then their TEK system. 11th May - Sustainable Energy Authority of IrelandOn Wednesday 11th May 2011 Renewable Energy Information Office (SEAI REIO)is hosting an event dedicated to solar energy as part of the European Solar Days. This event aims to promote the advantages of harnessing the energy of the sun and takes place at the EPA Headquarters, Johnstown Castle, Wexford - home to Ireland's largest solar PV array. It was a 10am to 3pm workshop. 9th May 2011 - Shortlisted for Wexford Green Business Award"Wexford Business Awards" finalists announced.We are Shortlisted in the "Wexford Green Business Award" category. The winner of each category will be announced at the Blacktie Awards Ceremony taking place in Whites Hotel Wexford on Friday 17th June. 
7/8th May 2011 - Simon Open doorA great total of 512 consultations were booked, which is just over the 2009 figure.Nearly 26,500 Euros was raised for the Simon Communities. I think my consultations went well and I could give some useful advise. 1st April 2011 - South East RaidoToday Zeno recorded an interview for South East Radio talking aboutthe Simon Comunity Open door initative. It was broadcast on Tuesday 5th around 10:45am. The Energy Show 31st March 2011 - RDS DublinZeno went to the Energy Show RDS.
