22nd - 24th October 2008 - Passive and Low Energy Architecture (PLEA) Conference

Ireland with the theme 'Towards Zero Energy Building'.
There were over 400 delegates from 47 countries, with over 150 papers read.
It was quite informative, with quite a few Irish papers. Zeno Winkens attended.

21st August 2008 - 2nd Annual Best Shopfront Awards Ferns. Co. Wexford

We were asked to Judge The Best Shopfront Awards
by Catherine MacPartlin, Co-ordinator of Ferns Tidy Towns.
It was established last year in Ferns, Co. Wexford to encourage good design
and raise awareness of the business community and the general public
of the visual benefits of well maintained premises.

Best Commercial Award:    Express Launderette
